As I wrote to past participants today, even as the days shorten, an anticipation grows as we approach Dec 21, and the longest night of the year.
The longest night of the year has now come to symbolize light, and the warmth of community, which is quite a beautiful thing.
More than a run, this event is about art made by footsteps in the snow, and the poetry of resilience in the midst of suffering.
