I just watched this amazing behind the scenes video from 2010’s TED conference. It follows Raghava KK and Sir Ken Robinson through the conference, and in the moments leading up to and following their respective talks.
If you’ve ever given a talk or performance of any kind, you’ll be able to relate with all the adrenaline and nerves captured in the pre-game moments, as well as the relief and joy of success afterwards.
“The thing is not to get self-conscious. It’s like playing the piano. If you play the piano and you start looking at your fingers, the music will stop.” – Sir Ken Robinson
Gotta say, this video was really encouraging to me as a communicator! I admire those who have refined and developed their craft as communicators, a great talk is a beautiful thing!
