Preemptive Love Remakes the World

Violence unmakes the world. So does fear of violence. It’s interesting that while most of us live in relative safety, we are easily drawn into fear, distrust, and protecting what’s ours.

While fear, suspicion, and mistrust abound, a brave few show us that there’s a better way.

“Preemptive love unmakes violence and remakes the world through healing.”

Jeremy Courtney is the founder of the Preemptive Love Coalition (the name alone is loaded, isn’t it?), an organization that works across Iraq to eradicate the backlog of children waiting in line for lifesaving heart surgeries. Not only do these heart surgeries save these children’s lives, they are building bridges between diverse peoples and helping to guide Iraq along the path of peace.

Jeremy is also a powerful communicator with a inspiring story that shows us how we can each help to remake the world.
